Hello Everyone! It’s that time of year when we begin the whirlwind of the holiday season, and time seems to fly right past us! During the hustle and bustle of November, we wanted to take some time to turn our thoughts on things that we are thankful for! Below are just a few of the things that we are truly thankful for here at Family Chatterbox!
- Our FAMILIES! Both our biological families and our families that we partner with through Family Chatterbox, we could not be more thankful for all that they do and who they are. Family is so important to us, and we appreciate you allowing our therapists to come in and become a part of your family’s life.
- A wonderful profession! Needless to say, we love our jobs. We are so thankful for Speech-Language Pathology as a profession, the great education that we have received, the support of a National Accreditation (American Speech-Language Hearing Association ASHA), and a career that is so fulfilling!
- The joy and humor of working with kids! Kids say the funniest things, make the cutest faces, and have a pure joy about them that is so contagious! We are so thankful that we get to work with them each day, it fills our days with so much light and love!
- An amazing team! It is *hopefully* no secret that we LOVE working as a team, and believe that we have one of the best teams out there. We genuinely enjoy working with each other, respect each other’s opinions, and seek to grow and learn together!
- The opportunity to think outside the box, and do what we believe is best for each child that we work with! We are so thankful that we live in a part of the world where we have access to information, opportunities to think differently, and have the ability to do what is best for each individual that we work with. We could not be more thankful for the way that Family Chatterbox encourages us to understand the unique needs of each child, provide individualized therapy that meets our kids where they are at, and allows us to maximize their progress!
Those are just a few of the awesome things that are on our hearts and minds during this thankful season. Comment on any of our social media to tell us what you are thankful for, or send us an email! We’d love to hear from you!
